SouthGate Church is a non-denominational fellowship believing the inspired Word of God as the all-sufficient guide for our faith. We Believe: -There is one God, eternal in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. -In the deity of Jesus Christ, born of a virgin, sinless in life, receiver of the atonement and resurrection, bringer of miracles, eternal salvation and the Second Coming. -That the sinful man must be transformed by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, who empowers the Christian to live a godly life, sharing it with others. -In the resurrection of Christians to eternal life and of the lost to perdition. -In water baptism by immersion as an outward expression of an inward determination. -In the spiritual unity of all believers in Jesus Christ. We also believe that the utmost priority is ministering to God through worship. We are a Spirit-filled church, believing in the exercise of the Gifts of the Holy Spirit as taught in 1 Corinthians 12, with emphasis in miracles, healing and words of edification.
